How To See Your Watch History On Android?

You can still see your watch history if you use an Android device for TikTok. You will need to take a longer detour because TikTok deleted the Watch History setting from Settings. Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to view Android’s TikTok watch history.

Step 1:  Go to TikTok on your Android device.

Step 2: Tap on the three horizontal lines. You can locate these at the top of your screen.

Step 3: Tap on the Setting & Privacy option at the bottom of your screen.

Step 4: Now, tap on the Privacy option.

Step 5: In the Privacy section, tap on Personalization and data.

Step 6: Tap on Download your data.

Step 7: Now, tap on the Request data option.

Step 8: You will get a message confirming your request being received. You can download your data file. You can download it from the Download data option.

Step 9: Once you have downloaded your TikTok account data. You will have to unzip the files to view your account data. If you are unable to view it on your phone, you can transfer it to your PC and open the files.

Step 10: You will be able to see a list of files in your downloaded data. Click on the Video Browsing History. In this file, you will be able to view your TikTok watch history. You can see a detailed history with data, time, and link to each one of the TikTok videos you have seen.

How To See Your Watch History On iOS?

The TikTok history no longer has the Watch History option. However, you may still use your iPhone to check the watch history for your account. Here is a simple tutorial on how to view your iPhone’s TikTok watch history.

Step 1:  Head over to TikTok on your phone.

Step 2: Tap on your Profile.

Step 3: Tap on the three horizontal lines at the top of your screen. Then, tap on Privacy.

Step 4: In the Privacy section, tap on Personalization and data.

Step 5: You will see the option to Download your data; tap on it.

 Step 6: Now, tap on the Request data option at the bottom of your screen.

Step 7: Once you have opted for your account data, tap on Download data. You will be able to download your TikTok data after 24 hours. It usually takes one day for your TikTok data.

Step 8:Once you have downloaded your data. You will need to unzip your downloaded data files. If you are unable to view the files on your iPhone, you can transfer it to your MacBook to view your TikTok data.

Step 9: After opening the data files, you will see a list of files. Click on the file names Video Browsing History to open it.

Step 10: You will now be able to view all of your watch history on TikTok. You will be able to see the videos you have watched with the date and time along with the link for each video.

How To See Your Watch History On A PC?

The TikTok app’s watch history function was incredible. Watching history was a real blessing, especially if you have clumsy fingers. You can still access your Watch History even if the item has been deleted from the app. I’ll explain how to view your TikTok PC watch history.

Step 1 :  Log in to your TikTok account from your browser.

Step 2 : Tap on your Profile icon.

Step 3 : Tap on Settings from the list of options on your screen.

Step 4: In the Privacy section, tap on Data.

Step 5: You will be asked to confirm the file format; select TXT.

Step 6: Once you have selected the file format, select Request Data.

Step 7: After requesting your account data, you can see the status of your request from the Download Data option.

Step 8:  Usually, TikTok takes about 24 hours to make the data available for download. Once you have downloaded the data, you will need to unzip the files.

Step 9: After that, select the file titled View Browsing. In this file, you will be able to view all the TikTok you have ever watched or partially watched. You can find the data, time, and a link to the video in the file.

More Ways To Watch TikTok Watch History

Step 1: Sign in on the TikTok website, select your profile picture on the top right,   and pick Settings.

Step 2: On the left, choose Manage account.

Step 3:On the right, select Download your data in the Privacy section.

Step 4: Open the Request data tab and you’ll see a brief description of the data you’ll receive.

Step 5:Choose the file format you’d like.

Step 6:Pick Request data.

Step 7: When your file is ready, you can return to this spot and get the zipped file on the Download data tab. Once you send the request, you’ll see it as Pending.

Using Discover Search

Step 1: Tap Discover, located at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Use the search bar at the top to find specific content or explore trending videos, hashtags, creators, and sponsored content located below.

Liking the Videos You Watch

If you’re new to TikTok, you might be perplexed as to how liking videos even works. Every social media platform has a unique method for expressing gratitude to content producers, and this one is no different. As was already discussed, loving a video can let you save it to a list so you can view it again later.

All you have to do to “like” a video on the app is tap the heart-shaped button that is located on the right side of the video. You can tell if you have liked the video successfully when the heart becomes red. accidentally liked a video? Simply press the heart icon one again, and it will return to its normal outline after turning red.
